How Invisible Links
Work
Before we describe how invisible links work, we would like to mention that invisible-links.com is a multi-platorm link exchange network, meaning you can exchange invisible links, and normal text links, and banner links with other webmasters.
The way invisible links work is simple. As you
may or may not know you CANNOT put invisible text links on web sites and expect search engines not to notice that you are trying to deceive them. The goal of
invisible links is to boost your pagerank and the overall popularity of your website.
With invisible links you will be putting an
invisible IMAGE link(s) on your site. Search engines cannot tell whether an image link is
invisible or not. An image is an image regardless of how it looks. What you will be doing
is putting a small square image that is the same color as your page's background. That way
it is invisible. You place the small square image below the main part of your website.
People won't know your links are there unless they pass their mouse over the image.
This image will be linked to whatever url you
choose.
The advantage of invisible links is that you
can add several links to any web page without people every knowing. Here is an example of
what an invisible link would look like. Notice the small square at the bottom. This is
just an example, in a real invisible link the square image would be completely white and
linked to a website. In the example below you could also put the invisible link inside the blue main body of your site if you prefer.
In order for invisible links to be invisible you need to remove the border around your 20x20 image, because when you turn an image into a link it automatically creates an ugly blue border around your image. You remove that border by setting the border to 0. Example: notice the border="0" in the code below.
<a href="http://www.invisible-links.com"><img src="http://www.invisible-links.com/square1.jpg" width="20" height="20" alt="invisible link" border="0"></a>
In the example below you could also put the invisible link inside the blue main body of your site if you prefer, however we have found that putting the links outside the main body of your site is preferred, but that is up to you, both ways work fine.

With invisible links you don't have to worry
about sending any of your precious traffic to other link partners. No one will know that
these links are on your site. The HUGE advantage to this is that you can put SEVERAL
invisible links on each page of your site and have MANY link partners.
A good size to use for your image links is
20x20 pixels.
Here is an example of what the code would look like for an invisible
image link.
This image's name is square1.
<a href="http://www.invisible-links.com"><img src="http://www.invisible-links.com/square1.jpg" width="20" height="20" alt="invisible link" border="0"></a>
